Lake Coldai at the foot of the Civetta. The Civetta is one of the great walls of the Dolomites—over 1,000 meters vertical, with dozens of historic climbing routes. Lake Coldai, at 2,143 meters, reflects it from the east, bathed in the golden light so characteristic of the Dolomites. This photo was taken during a bivouac trek around the Civetta.
