Total distance: 12km. Elevation: 380 m.

Located in the heart of the Mille Etangs, the Esmoulières plateau is full of hamlets with funny names (Pont Bourbeux!). The landscapes are typical of the Vosges Saônoises (I particularly like them). The hikes there are peaceful and bucolic. The route that I describe here passes mainly on roads because the quantity of snow was too great to take paths! However, if you are in the Esmoulières plateau area, do not hesitate to trace your own route. Look at the map: the region is full of small paths connecting one hamlet to another. You can also take a look at other routes on this site, such as that of the Bozon valley.

If you're in the area, don't hesitate to stop by Beulotte-Saint-Laurent and its country café “Chez Gaby”. Simple mountain cuisine that invigorates!

I started photography in 2015 during a trip to Hawaii. Since then, I have devoted myself to landscape photography during my many mountain treks.
